There are times when you expect a certain quantity of 'quality' time from someone in particular. That someone though, has different priorties in life, priorties very different from yours, priorties which differ from the you, 'you' have been. Then you begin to change because of them or may be it's something inside you that you have always wanted something of a kind which you are now very close to, you start fantasizing, start believing that the one thing you thought is a light years far away from you is rather just around the corner.
